... europeneste.

In prima jumatate a acestui an, JEF Europe i-a invitat pe tinerii europeni sa trimita fotografii, scurt metraje si productii muzicale care sa reflecte ce inseamna Europa pentru ei. Rezultatul? Africa!!! si o experienta unica a dialogului multi-cultural si artistic.

Acum European Vibes vine la Bucuresti si JEF Romania va invita sa patrundeti vibratiile intre 22-30 noiembrie la Biblioteca Metropolitana din Bucuresti Sediul Central (Strada Tache Ionescu nr. 4. )

Share the vibes and enter the dialogue!!!!

Vizita, proiecte, cadru international

Therefore, I am going to write our impressions in English, in a sort of a brief journal of our activities.

The 3 days of JEB visit (29-31 August) were all full of events, all varied and fruitful. We all became friends and, what is even better, made new acquaintances and got the chance to make future plans for new projects.

On Sunday, the 29th, we were all welcomed to the Institute of Political Research, that belongs to the Faculty of Political Science, by the students from the Political Science Association. Thanks to Ioana, Anca, Rada, Cristi, Robert, and some of their friends, the evening went quite pleasant, with the group getting to have a glimpse of what means ‘’Romania’’. Our informal taking touched some sensitive and very relevant issues from today’s society. We had pizza, and a joyful evening in Green Hours, concert Mara and ZUM.

Monday was a full day, with a visit to the German Embassy, and then to Transparency International, where Mr. Matt Loftis told us more about the organization, its purpose and its projects in Romania. In the evening we had some traditional food, and international atmosphere.

On Tuesday everybody was already a bit tired, so, after a visit to Romani CRISS, the center for the Roma minority, http://www.romanicriss.org/ , we went to the House of the People, where the large marble halls and the infinite curtains left us an image of what used to be the useless opulence of the Communist Regime. The evening came as a contrast, with an extraordinary concert held by Taraf de Haidouks, an authentic Romanian folk band, with what we call ‘’lautari’’ (singers).

Wednesday morning our dear friends went back to Germany, passing a day through Sibiu.
